Zero Carb Everything Bagels

YUM

First, let me clarify something – I’m not keto and I don’t diet, but I do like to eat healthy. I try to stick to whole, minimally processed foods. However, some days I eat chips and candy for lunch in the garage while hiding from the kids. It’s called balance, and this recipe is a little bit of both.

I love eggs, cheese and Everything but the Bagel Seasoning. When I came across these carb-free bagels, I tweaked them for my liking and had to share. If you are looking for carb-free snacks, this is definitely a good one to add to your list.

Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Colby-Jack, or your favorite)

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan or Asiago (or other hard cheese)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp Everything but the Bagel seasoning

  • Donut baking pan

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 1: Combine shredded cheese and egg. Mix well.

Step 2: Pour mixture into donut pan. This recipe makes 6 bagels. If your pan is larger than that, leave the extra molds empty.
Side note: My grandma recently taught me to fill the empty ones with water so that everything will cook evenly. She has dementia but remembers the important stuff. ;)

Step 3: Sprinkle seasoning over tops of the bagels. You can use as much as you like. I like to use a lot of seasoning.

Step 4: Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese has fully melted and created a slightly brown crust. Let cool slightly before adding cream cheese.

Yes, we’re using all the cheese here. LOL, is this what keto is? Just a brick of cheese for a meal? I’m in.

These carb-free bagels are delicious. They are also perfect for meal prep or as a grab and go option. They don’t need cream cheese, but if you want the full bagel experience like me, then throw some on! The kids love these too.

Stay cool friends!

Always and Whatever
