Apple Pear Marinade

YUM

I’m really loving this marinade right now. It’s my favorite on porkchops but also tastes great on steak and chicken. In this recipe, I’ll be preparing four porkchops.

Ingredients

  • Four porkchops

  • 1 Asian pear, peeled and cut

  • 1 yellow onion

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar

  • 2 tbsp of minced garlic

  • 1/4 cup sesame oil

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

This yields enough for 3-4 uses.

Step 1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a blender and blend on high.

Step 2. Store in fridge for 24 hours before use.

Step 3. Combine porkchops and marinade in a bowl or Ziplock bag, saturating meat completely. Allow pork chops marinate for at least 30 minutes – the longer the better.

I like to cook my porkchops in the air fryer for 4-8 minutes per side, depending on thickness. I add more marinade to the top when I flip them. Serve over white rice.

This is our favorite meal right now. I like to make extra pork to use in pork spring rolls, like thesel! Such a great way to use up veggies and leftovers.

I hope you enjoy this meal as much as we do! I really have been telling anyone that will listen about this tasty recipe.

Patiently and excitedly waiting for actual spring weather!

Always and Whatever
